10 Things to Look Forward to After the Wedding

This is an interesting article which has just been posted on Weddingsonline. The 10 most important things to look forward to after the Big day. The Wedding Video comes in at number 5.

The Wedding DVD!

Some couples make the mistake of not hiring a wedding videographer for their big day and if that isn’t the most regrettable wedding mistake you’ll make we’ll eat our fascinators. The wedding video is one of the most exciting things you’ll look forward to after the big day – the morning excitement, the anxious wait at the top of the aisle, the moving speeches, and the ridiculous dancing… All captured in a neat little DVD to replay as you eat popcorn and think about donning your dress again for the ‘occasion’…

Top Wedding Venue Tipperary

Just over another busy weekend with three wedding Videos Tipperary,  on Saturday I travelled to Kilcommon  which is in the heart of North Tipperary.

Julie Phelan & Patrick MacNamara celebrated their wedding ceremony in St. Patrick’s Church Kilcommon62405_402259106546779_361429337_n followed by  the Wedding Reception in The Abbeycourt Hotel Nenagh. The insert picture is a shot of the top table for Julie & Patrick’s wedding.

The Abbeycourt is one of the best Wedding Venues in Tipperary and is a much sough after Wedding reception Venue  by Brides In North Tipperary and by South Tipperary Brides alike.   Now less than 60 minutes from Shannon via the New Limerick Tunnel & 90 minutes from Dublin via the new M7 The Great National Abbey Court Tipperary Hotel is one of Ireland’s landmark 3* hotels, located in Nenagh, a town bursting with life and steeped in history.

I am looking forward to many more Wedding Videos in this wonderful Tipperary Wedding Reception Venue in the near future.

Keeping Parents Happy

Making sure your parents feel the love as you plan the biggest day of your life can be one of the biggest pains in the neck. You want them to have a say, but can’t for the life of you make them understand the concept of a Marquee wedding, or a non-Church ceremony, or the fact that you can’t pay for 20 extra guests because ‘otherwise they’ll think you’re havin’ notions about yourself!’ And then there’s the in-laws, but the less said about that the better.

Jekyll and Hyde, St. Mary’s Choral Society, Clonmel, Tipperary.

Here is a clip from a wonderful production by St. Mary’s Choral Society Clonmel. Co. Tipperary.  Jekyll & Hyde the musical was performed in the White Memorial Theatre Clonmel from April 27th to May 4th 2013  and the production was enjoyed by a packed house each night.

It was an honor to have been the Videographer for this fantastic Tipperary Musical Production, I have been associated with St. Mary’s Choral Society for a number of years now and I must say that they are a really Professional group of people.  As a Videographer in Tipperary it is great to be picking up local Musicals/Shows  in and around Clonmel, Rosegreen, Clooneen, Tipperary Town, Thurles & Templemore.

Drangan Video has been selected to record Match Analyzation DVDS for the Tipperary 2013 Senior Hurling Panel this is something that I am personally looking forward to. It is great that a Local Videographer In Tipperary has been selected for this important and exciting task.  Up Tipp 🙂

Wedding Video Supplier Rankings in Tipperary/Munster

I think it is fair to say that Weddings in Ireland despite the the ongoing recession are at an all-time high,a which is great news for Wedding Suppliers in Munster, Kilkenny and Tipperary.

As a wedding Videographer In Tipperary I am glad to say that business is good. It is amazing how Wedding Videographery has changed over the years, cameras are only half the size compared to the big shoulder cams which were in use 15 years ago or so, and picture quality is so much better now. The style of Wedding Video Production is also much different now ,  gone is the 3 hour long boring Video Tape  containing the full priest’s homily and maybe an hour of dancing at the end, today a typical Wedding DVD will be  well under 2 hrs in length. Camera style and technique will vary between  Videographers but all will be shooting footage that contains lots of camera movement and shots of the same  subject from a varioty of interesting angles.  All professional  Wedding Videographers will be using two Cameras for the ceremony and speeches.

www.dranganvideo.com  is doing really well in Google Rankings  we are well up there on the first page from a Google Search for a Wedding Videographer In Tipperary, Waterford, Kilkenny, Limerick, Carlow or Munster.

Drangan Video is now offering  5 individual Wedding Video Packages  ranging in price from €400 for the Ceremony Packageb to €925 for the Diamond Package.  The Diamond Package provides coverage of the full day to include  Bridal Preparations in the morning  up to 11pm that evening, and I do stay until 11am and will always check out with the Bride & Groom or members of the Bridal Party before leaving, I have been reliably  informed by hotel management and bands about certain Wedding Videographers who slip away after one or two dances when the Bride & Groom are out of sight this is very sly &  dishonest to say the least.
