On October 29th 2011 I traveled to Cork City to record the wedding of Fiona Dargon & Brian Dunscombe. The Wedding Video began at Fiona’s home which is Barrackton Post Office, Military Road Cork, this short clip from their Wedding DVD captures the emotion and excitement as the girls and the family prepared for the day. A large crowd of onlookers gathered on Military Road to see off this Stunning Cork Bride, there was great excitement when the Horse Drawn Carriage arrived to collect Fiona and her Dad, after a very wet start to the day the sunshine appeared as the Bride’s Carriage arrived.

The Ceremony took place in Clogheen Church, Kerry Pike, Cork  this Church is a very popular Venue for Weddings in Cork City. It is a lovely Church with plenty of natural light which is great for Wedding Recording. After the Wedding Ceremony we stopped off at Blarney Castle for the Photo Call and Video Footage the sun was still shining which is a bonus for late October Wedding Videographers in Cork are frequent visitors to this wonderful Castle and Park.

Blarney Castle

Blarney Castle was built nearly six hundred years ago by one of Ireland’s greatest chieftains, Cormac MacCarthy, and has been attracting attention beyond Munster ever since. Over the last few hundred years, millions have flocked to Blarney, making it a world landmark and one of Ireland’s greatest treasures.

Now that might have something to do with the Blarney Stone, the legendary Stone of Eloquence, found at the top of our Tower. Kiss it and you’ll never again be lost for words, Fiona & Brian are a very friendly and chatty couple the must have kissed the Blarney Stone at some stage.

The Wedding Reception was in the  Carlton Hotel Kinsale it is the brightest jewel in Carlton’s Crown and is one of the leading Kinsale Hotels. Set on 90 acres of mature wooded parkland with panoramic views overlooking Oysterhaven Bay, this luxury Kinsale hotel are committed to providing the highest standards and take pride in their tranquil surroundings. As a Wedding Videographer I am always delighted with this fantastic  hotel, it is the Number one Wedding Venue in Cork and is very much sough after by Cork Brides and Brides in Munster.

I really enjoyed getting to know Fiona & Brian and working with them on their Wedding Day in Cork, they are quite a young couple which is lovely there is something special about young love, they are a smashing couple and I wish them all the very best for the future. I have allot of Wedding Video Bookings in Cork City for 2012 and that is something that I look forward to.
