Here at Drangan Video we are happy to be back again filming weddings in Tipperary, Kilkenny, Waterford, Carlow and up and down the country, from a personal point of view its fantastic to be back working again. The wedding industry is embracing a new normal, small weddings are very different but in a nice way.
Thurles couple Denise and Paul had been planning their wedding day for more than two years, they had close to 200 guests on the invite list, then due to restrictions they were only allowed a fraction of the original list.
Check out the following highlights from their wedding film, the clip shows a very happy couple enjoying a fab wedding celebration with just family and close relatives.
Weddings In The Anner Hotel Thurles Tipperary
Video coverage of the day began with bridal preps in the the Anner Hotel, If you are looking for the perfect country house wedding setting the Anner Hotel is the answer, the hotel has been in the wedding business for almost 60 years. The management and staff are totally committed to doing everything they can to make every wedding special, they also have a one wedding per day policy.
Denise and Paul discussed their wedding day planning with Deirdre Crowe the new wedding co-coordinator. Deirdre is so nice to deal with, she will always make time for a friendly chat.
Weddings In The Cathedral of the Assumption Thurles
One of many features of the Cathedral is the high-domed tabernacle it was designed by a student of Michelangelo, the tabernacle rested on the white marble Altar until the renovations during 1970, the one hundred and fitly feet high bell tower is one most important landmarks in Thurles.
Denise and Paul exchanged vows in the cathedral, Fr. Joe Walsh presided over a lovely ceremony with his usual mix of good humor and prayerful moments of reflection.
A Wedding Flash Mob Surprise In Thurles
The definition of a flash mob is a group of strangers who gather together in a public place using electronic media such as mobile phones or the Internet to behave in a predetermined manner for a predetermined amount of time, and then quickly move away a successful flash mob event depends on the element of surprise.
As Denise & Paul walked down the aisle as husband and wife little did they know what awaited them on the steps of the cathedral, they were greeted by a wedding flash mob performing Marry You by Bruno Mars, it is a very special scene on their wedding video highlights clip
Lisheen Castle Moyne Tipperary for wedding photos
There is something about a castle as a location for wedding photos Lisheen Castle has been beautifully restored and is now a luxury rental vacation property in the heart of Tipperary. I’m reliably informed that small intimate family weddings can take place at the castle.
Denise and Paul made their way to the castle grounds for for video and photo shoot, the grounds are a credit the owners it was my first visit to this hidden gem in the heart of Tipperary, I’m looking forward to many more visits in the future.
The couple received a rousing reception from family and friends as they entered the Anner Hotel, for me as a wedding supplier its very comforting to see how well Deirdre Crowe and staff are dealing with with covid restrictions, everything done to the letter of the law.
Thanks to Denise and Paul for choosing me as their wedding videographer and also for allowing their wedding to be shared on social media.
