At this time of the year its refreshing for me to share some wedding video highlights from weddings that I have filmed over the past 12 months. The following clip is a snippet from from a lovely, Happy Wedding Video in Waterford.
From the moment that I first spoke to Michelle and Garry I knew that we were in for great wedding day, they were so down to earth, happy and easygoing, straight away I was looking forward to working with them on their wedding day. September 12th was another beautiful sunny day, I arrived for bridal preps in Kings Meadow, McDonagh Road at 11 am, with just two hours to go Michelle and the girls were showing no signs of panic, a very relaxed Bride to be said t “everything will be grand” and it was.
The wedding ceremony was set for 2pm in the Church of the Sacred Hearth the Folly Waterford which was only a 10 min drive from Michelle’s house, I arrived in good time to get shots of Gary and the boys arriving, not a bother on Gary it was just another day, he was in no hurry in to the church making the best of the beautiful weather he enjoyed a chat with family and friends before the arrival of his beautiful bride who arrived 10 mins late which is not bad timing, Gary and the boys were already seared and ready for the ceremony.
Ballindud Mill and Cottage is a famous tourist attraction in Waterford, it is situated on the Tramore road just on the outskirts of Waterford city, we arrived there at 4pm for family photos. I was delighted with my video footage, the sun was still shining from a blue sky as Michelle and Gary took a quite stroll around the the grounds, the old mill wheel still stands at Ballindud and is set to one side of the old cottage its an amazing backdrop for wedding videos and photos.
The Tower Hotel Waterford is on of my favorite wedding venues in the South East, the stately building sits on the banks of the river suir, at the Mall in Waterford city. Weddings in the tower are always a memorable occasion, the staff are so friendly and experienced as they go about the job of hosting unforgettable wedding receptions. The speeches were conducted before the meal which was no problem for the hotel, dancing began at 10pm which is quite early, thanks again to the hotel management and staff for getting tables cleared away in good time for the band to set up.
A big thank you to Michelle & Gary for choosing me as their wedding videographer, it was a a fab wedding everything went off without a hitch thanks to good planning and attention to detail, wishing Gary & Michelle all the very best for the future, they have promised to recommend Drangan Video to some of their friends who are thinking of tying the knot in the near future. I am already looking forward to producing my next Happy Wedding Video In Waterford.
