I am delighted to have finally got around to sharing this wedding video highlight clip, both on my blog page and on my drangan video facebook page. Niamh Mullally and Con O’
Connell were married in Foulkstown Church, Kilkenny on February 21st 2014. For me the day began with a visit to Niamh’s Parent’s house in Ballyeyden which is very close to the wexford border and about 45 mins from Kilkenny, from the lovely warm welcome that I received from all the Mullally family when I walked in the door, the scene was set for the great day that lay ahead.
Niamh and Con decided to book Drangan Video from a referral from a friend of whom had used Drangan Video to record her own wedding in Limerick, I recevied a few phone calls from Niamh back in 2013 regarding availably and advising me as to what she expected from her Wedding Video, she came across been a down to earth, friendly and easygoing bride to be, so I was looking forward to working with herself and Con on the big day. February 21st was a bright sunny day and a little bit on the cool side, I arrived at Niamh’s house about 10:30am, bridal preps were in full swing everyone rushing around and all very happy. I received a lovely warm welcome from everyone and Niamh was just so easy going and relaxed it was looking like a very enjoyable wedding shoot.
The ceremony was celebrated by Fr. Dan Cavanagh who is friend of the family, it was a lovely personal Wedding ceremony which helped to make Niamh & Con feel even more relaxed. After the ceremony we headed to Butler House in Kilkenny for the Wedding Photos, Nick O’ Keeffe was the wedding photographer for the day and as always he is an absolute pleasure to work with, apart from been a very nice guy his work is amazingly modern and different from what is on offer from other wedding photographers, it is easy to understand why he was awarded the title of Weddingsonlone Wedding photographer of the year in 2012. Butler House Kilkenny is the ideal choice for wedding photos and for shooting wedding video footage, it is a popular choice by Brides In Kilkenny and Tipperary Brides.
The Newpark Hotel Kilkenny was the reception venue, it a personal favorite of mine for Weddings In Kilkenny and it is also a popular choice by Brides In Tipperary, everything about this hotel is perfect, it always shining the attention to details is amazing the staff are so friendly and efficient, the band are are always ready for the first dance by 10 pm at the latest which is nice for me as I am only 30 mins from Kilkenny, so I’m looking forward to many more Weddings In Newpark Hotel Kilkenny during summer 2014.
So once again thanks to Niamh & Con for choosing me to record their special day, they are a lovely couple and it was a real pleasure to have been part of their Wedding day. I received a smashing text from Niamh thanking me for the wedding dvds, its so nice to receive a message like this.
“Hi eamon con and I would like to thank u sooo much for the fabulous dvd! We watched it last night and absolutely enjoyed it. U did an amazing job and I definitely will b recommending you to all our friends. Can’t wait to watch it again! U got fabulous clips! I can’t thank u enough! So happy!
