The Fabulous Kilkenny Wedding Singers Emma’s Wedding Video

This week I am  delighted to  be sharing   Emma & Anthony’s wedding video highlights, the happy couple were married in St. Joseph’s Church Foulkstown Kilkenny in March 2016.
Over the past few years most of my weekends are spent shooting wedding videos  in Kilkenny City and County, all my weddings are delightful occasions, but every now and again up pops that extra special one 🙂

I first became aquatinted with The Fabulous Kilkenny Wedding Singers in 2009, I was the wedding videographer for a wedding in St John’s Church in Kilkenny, I was blown away by the girls performance during the ceremony Emma & Deirdre were just a cut above the opposition, over the following months I was bumping into them  all over Kilkenny and Tipperary.  In 2010 Deirdre kindly asked me to shoot her wedding video and following on from that to 2016 Emma hired me to film her big day.

Emma and Anthony’s Fabulous Wedding Video:

What are the ingredients for that extra special wedding video story ?
From the moment when I arrived at Emma’s house for coverage of the bridal preps I was getting good all round vibes, Emma is such a down to earth relaxed person with a beautiful warm personality,  Her Dad is a dedicated Kilkenny Hurling supporter, naturally  I was on the receiving  end of some friendly!! banter about Tipperary’s chances of getting their hands on Liam McCarthy in September.
The bridal preps were great fun I was looking forward to shooting an extra special Kilkenny Wedding video.

Foulkstown Church is to be found on the Waterford Road, on the outskirts of Kilkenny city.  The inside of the church is pretty plain with  painted walls  but its kept in great condition. There is enough seating  to squeeze in 180 guests for a wedding.
The Kilkenny Wedding Singers  are well aquatinted with Foulkstown Church providing  wedding singing and music for scores of Kilkenny  wedding ceremonies.
After the communion Emma & Deirdre performed a beautiful duet which brought tears of pride and joy to parents, family and friends, its not every day that a bride will stand up and sing at her own wedding ceremony.

Rothe House and Gardens:

Rothe House and Gardens was the venue for the wedding photos and video footage.
Rothe House in Kilkenny  is a unique Irish merchant’s townhouse,  the property comprises three houses, three enclosed courtyards and a large garden, it is one the most popular wedding video and photo locations in Kilkenny city. It was a pleasure working with Ross Costigan, we have already covered lots of 2016 weddings in Kilkenny, he is a very creative wedding photographer with an easy going attitude we work well together as a wedding photographer & Videographer team.
Our stop off at Rothe House was well wort the  effort, it also allowed some time out for the bridal to get away from the busy wedding schedule. Before departing for Langton House Hotel Emma & Anthony enjoyed a short stroll though the beautiful streets of medieval Kilkenny, a lucky opportunity to grab amazing video footage.

Wedding Reception In Langton House Hotel Kilkenny :

Emma & Anthony decided on Langton House Hotel  as their preferred choice  for a few different reasons.
1  A spectacular ball room, boasting 20f ceilings, ornate cornicing and hand painted silk wallpaper, this room is the delight of any bride.
Self contained function room with its own private bar.
Access to a unique garden bar and private conservatory.
4 The Langton Ballroom is suitable for any wedding size.

It was an honor to have  played my small part in making Emma & Anthony’s wedding day so special, this video highlights clip has already been shared on my Drangan Video Facebook Page and has attracted many favorable comments from family and friends.
The video finishes with Emma singing ” You’ll Never Walk Alone ” after the meal, a perfect finish to a perfect day.
