In this week’s blog post I am delighted to sharing yet another wedding video from my home county of Tipperary.
Valerie and Kevin celebrated their wedding in Two-Mile-Borris, it is a small tidy village in County Tipperary located on the outskirts Thurles town.
February 18th was a lovely day lots of spring sunshine and not a rain drop in sight.
After setting up my main camera and microphones in the church I quickly made my way to Valerie’s house to grab some of the pre wedding excitement. Aileen Kennedy was the wedding photographer for the day, Aileen and myself have lost count of the number of weddings that we have covered around Thurles, Cashel, Clonmel and all overTipperary, she is a top class photographer and a pleasure to work with.
Valerie and her Bridal team were enjoying the build up to the main event, the sun was beaming through the windows spring was in the air and the girls had a spring in their step.
Fr. George Burke conducted a lovely personal and easy going ceremony with some light hearted comments thrown in helping to relax the slightly nervous couple.
Wedding Photos In Templemore Park
We stopped off at Templemore Town park for the wedding photos the park is a real treasure for the little town of Templemore.
As a wedding photo venue this park has so much to offer a lake and an impressive fountain.
Valerie and Kevin enjoyed a pleasant stroll around the wooded area of the park, I was delighted to have captured beautiful video footage of the happy couple as they walked hand in hand chatting and enjoying time out from their busy wedding day schedule.
County Arms Hotel Birr
Our final stop was at the County Arms Hotel in Birr, it is popular choice of wedding venue for Tipperary couples, it is also one of my favorite wedding reception locations, the walled Garden is ideal for wedding video and photo shoots. Built over 200 years ago and recently refurbished the County Arms Hotel, Birr, County Offaly is the perfect wedding venue for any discerning Bride and Groom.
Valerie enjoyed a fab wedding reception, the speeches were very entertaining and well delivered, during the preparations for the dancing I capture some lovely comments from the guests all wishing the happy couple all the best for the future.
My day finished at 11pm I was finally on my way home to Tipperary and very happy with my video coverage of Valerie and Kevin’s wedding day.
