This is another local wedding video in Holycross Abbey, Thurles, Tipperary, on January 4th I had the pleasure of recording the wedding of Sarah & James in one of Tipperary’s
most famous wedding ceremony venues, Holycross Abbey is a fantastic venue for both winter and summer weddings, Sarah & James opted for the silver package which is one of five packages now available from Drangan Video. The Silver Package provides coverage from the bridal preps in the morning up to and including the speeches before the meal.
I arrived at Sarah’s house at 11am it is on the Thurles Holycross Road and only a few minutes drive to Holcross Abbey, the morning was sunny with some passing showers the infant of Prague sat at the base of a tree in the front garden doing its best to keep the sun shining for Sarah’s special day. Aileen Kennedy is a local wedding photographer from Thurles who provided wonderful photo opertunites on the day, I really like working with her she is very professional in her approach to setting up shots she has has a bubbly and friendly personality, her work has a modern and fresh look about it she also works hard at trying to make every wedding shoot different, we recommend each other for local weddings in Tipperary, Cashel, Thurles, Clonmel and much further a field. As a wedding videographer in Tipperary I am a regular visitor to Holycross Abbey it is indeed a beautiful wedding ceremony venue situated in the heart of the premier county and steeped in local history, even though it has received extensive restoration work in recent years you still get the feeling that it has been untouched. Holycross Abbey is located in Holycross Village, outside Thurles, Co Tipperary. Free Guided Tours of the Abbey are available every Wednesday and Sunday at 2pm (church ceremonies permitting). Tours can also be arranged for interested groups by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning +353 (0)86 1665869.
Donations are accepted at the discretion of the visitor.
Sarah and James were a lovely couple to to work with, Sarah was smiling all day and James was just so laid back he is one cool guy. James is farming in the Ragg Thurles we stopped off at the farm for some very interesting photos and unique video footage, some of which is highlighted in the above highlight clip from the wedding DVD, thanks again to Aileen Kennedy’s eye for choosing amazing and interesting places for fun wedding Video footage. It was raining when we arrived at the farm but we managed to set up some lovely shots in doorways of the farm buildings some of the barns had arched door ways surrounded by red brick, the bridal were able to keep dry and avoid getting wet, super wedding video material. The Abbey Court Hotel Nenagh is one of the best wedding venues in Tipperary, its always a pleasure and a joy to work there. From the moment you step inside the Abbey Court Nenagh Hotel, one of the finest hotels in Nenagh, you’ll find Irish hospitality professionalism and individual service only matched by a breath-taking array of business and leisure facilities. The hotel is one of the finest Wedding Venues in Tipperary and also boasts one of the best Conference Venues Tipperary has to offer – making it a superb Business Hotel. This is all wrapped up in the hotel’s quirky features: from an oasis that is the Abbey Court’s extensive gardens to family holiday facilities that are the envy of hotels nationwide.
So once again thanks to Sarah & James for choosing Drangan Video to record their special day, local weddings in Tipperary are always special and its great sparing on travel costs also, Sarah and James have opted to have their wedding highlights shared on facebook on my Drangan Video business page, this is included with all five wedding packages at no extra cost.
